Itinerary

Full Day - Private TourSweet Waters and Incarceration Tour

Your tour will take you along a journey through the City of Cape Town given the name of “Camissa” or “Sweet Waters” by the original native people, the Khoi-San. Your guide will highlight significant points of interests along the way, providing insight into its unique history. An opportunity will be provided to visit Table Mountain one of the seven natural wonders of the World, before visiting the Company Gardens (Historical beginnings of the VOC replenishment station), and the Castle of Good Hope (Oldest Colonial building in South Africa). Learn how Cape Town played a significant role in World trade and economics for centuries, and gain insight into South Africa’s Colonial past, and the journey undertaken by millions of South Africans that birthed a truly unique democracy that is the Republic today. Visit Robben Island where three of South Africa’s ex presidents including Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, and gain insight into some of the amazing South African stories the Mother City has played host to, rich in diversity.
